A chatbot that says “I don't know” is more trustworthy.
ConvoRail is built around one rule: never guess. Here is why, what that shapes in the product, and who is behind it.
The one rule
Answer from what the business actually wrote. If it isn't there, say so, and bring in a person.
- Grounded answers
- Honest handoff
- Leads captured
Built around one constraint, on purpose.
Most website chatbots sit on a general language model with no hard limit on what it may say. That works until a customer asks something the bot doesn't actually know, and it answers anyway, confidently and incorrectly.
ConvoRail starts from the opposite default. The bot answers only from the knowledge you give it. If a question falls outside that knowledge, it says so and hands off, rather than filling the gap with a guess.
That one constraint shapes the product: a dashboard built around managing your knowledge base, a view of the questions the bot couldn't answer, and a widget that stays out of the way until someone needs it. We'd rather ship a narrower thing that is honest about its limits than a broader thing that isn't.
The trade-offs we keep making the same way.
Trust over confidence
A chatbot that says "I don't know" when that is true is more useful than one that always sounds sure. That trade-off is the whole product.
Visible gaps, not hidden ones
When the bot can't answer something, it shows up in the dashboard as a real signal instead of being silently swallowed.
No dev sprint required
A business owner should be able to set this up in minutes, not wait in an engineering queue.
Principles you can check against the product.
No invented answers
Out-of-scope questions get an honest "no confirmed information" and a handoff, never a guess dressed up as fact.
Honest about what isn't built yet
Roadmap items are labelled as roadmap on this site, in the FAQ and in the product. We try not to oversell what is shipped.
Plain pricing
Plan limits and prices are stated openly and localised by country, on the Pricing page.
Any business with repeat questions.
ConvoRail has no sector-specific logic. It is Q&A pairs plus a widget, so it works the same whatever you sell. These are common patterns, not customer claims.
SaaS and software
Setup, billing and feature questions answered from your own docs.
Ecommerce and retail
Shipping, returns and product questions answered from your actual policies.
Professional services
The same intake questions, answered before a person has to.
Local and small businesses
Hours, pricing and availability, without watching a chat window all day.
See more on the Solutions page.
Specific differences, not a vibe.
Grounded by default
Replies are checked against your Q&A pairs before they are sent. Grounding is part of how answers are produced, not only an instruction to the model.
One script tag, not a project
No SDK, no framework requirement and no backend integration for the basic setup.
A dashboard that shows its work
Unanswered questions and usage are visible in the dashboard, so you don't need a support ticket to find out.

About ConvoRail, answered plainly.
Product and billing questions are on the FAQ and Pricing pages.
What is ConvoRail?
ConvoRail is an AI chatbot platform for websites. It answers visitor questions using only the knowledge you give it, and hands the conversation to your team when it isn't sure.
Who is ConvoRail built for?
Any business that gets repeat questions on its website, such as SaaS, ecommerce, services or a local business, and wants them answered accurately without someone sitting in a chat window all day.
Who is behind ConvoRail?
ConvoRail is built and run by a small team led by founder and CEO Sakshi Sidana, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Is ConvoRail a general-purpose AI chatbot?
No, deliberately. It only answers from the Q&A pairs and content you give it. That is a narrower job than a general assistant, and it is what lets ConvoRail refuse to guess.
How is ConvoRail different from other website chatbot tools?
Many chatbot tools default to sounding confident even when they have no source. ConvoRail's default is the opposite: with no close match in your knowledge base, it says so and hands off to your team.
Do you build custom integrations?
Not as a self-serve feature today. If you need something beyond the standard plans, contact us and we'll say plainly what we can and can't do.
How does ConvoRail avoid wrong or made-up answers?
It only answers when your knowledge base has a close match. If nothing matches, it says it doesn't have confirmed information, offers a contact form and flags your team instead of guessing.
See it decline to guess, yourself.
