A general chatbot tries to answer everything. Anok answers only when your knowledge base has a close match. If it doesn't, it says it has no confirmed information, offers a contact form and flags your team instead of guessing.
Where does Anok get its answers?
From the knowledge you add to your ConvoRail account: your Q&A pairs and your website content. It does not answer from outside that knowledge, and it does not use other customers' data.
What happens when Anok doesn't know the answer?
Anok tells the visitor it doesn't have confirmed information and shows a short contact form for name, email and phone. The conversation appears in your shared inbox flagged as urgent, with the visitor's details attached.
Can my team take over a conversation?
Yes. Your team replies from the shared inbox and the reply appears live in the visitor's chat. While a teammate is in the conversation, Anok steps aside.
How do I add Anok to my website?
Paste one script tag, which includes your account's API key, into your site. It works on any site where you can add a line of HTML, and you don't need a developer for basic use.
Is my data kept separate from other customers?
Yes. Each account's knowledge base and conversation history are isolated to that account at the database layer.
Can Anok take actions in my own systems?
Not yet. Smart Actions, which would let Anok trigger actions through an API or MCP, are on the roadmap. Today Anok answers questions, captures leads and hands off to your team.
